Hey!! :)*aacchoo!!*With flu, cough, slight fever and sore throat, I am now armed with huge pills and slapped with 2 days mc..Not that I am complaining..Heh..If only, DH is here with me..Anyways, happy thoughts! Happy thoughts!I finally found the KL pics that were taken in Jan..I know I am seriously lacking in showing how much I've grown..*gulps*Since we are talking about growth, the moment my doc laid eyes on me, she asked..'Are you pregnant?!'Heheheeeee..That made me happy cos it showed that I have not been ill for a long time and that I finally looked pregnant and not just fat..Which I think many people still viewed me as.. :(Pics!!! Me!! At erm..14 weeks? Hehehe!! You can totally see my bump in this pic.. :)Before we went to KL, we went to visit my cousin who just delivered her 2nd born after 11 years! Goodness! Such a long gap! Muhd Harith..3.4kg..Woah!! Babies and me totally get along well together.. :)Btw, when I was carrying him, DH was teased on why he refused to cary Harith..I knew why! DH was scared!! Hahaha!! He said Harith was too small, still very red and seemed so fragile..Hahaha! To that, I teased him that everyone else is going to carry Peanut(which he totally disagrees till today) before him..'No!! I will carry Peanut!!''But you say you are scared of newborns!''Yes but only I can carry Peanut! Noone else can carry!''You wish!!' (my sisters retort)'Hahaha!!''Only me..Only me..''Then me? I am Peanut's Mummy..''No!''Ok then, you breastfeed Peanut..''Ok!!'I think DH lost his marbles at that point of time..Hahaha!!!Peanut, looks like your Abah and I are going to fight with each other on whose turn to carry you..But not to worry..When Abah goes to work and Mummy is still on maternity leave, I will be the obsessive one and will be a willing party to give you to Abah when Abah returns home from work..Do cry out loud when you are thirsty cos Mummy wants Abah to know that Mummy rules and that Mummy wants to see how Abah pacify you and when it is unsuccessful, Mummy will tease Abah to breastfeed you..Hahaha!!!!:DMy Darling Hubby now addresses Peanut by the chosen name..I admit that I too have followed suit, though I am waiting for the next check up to confirm Peanut's gender..Though the doc did tell me the gender, nothing is for certain till the next check up..Now let's talk about naming Peanut! :)If Peanut is a boy, he will be named 'Muhammad A..' and if Peanut is a girl, she will be named 'Nur A..' Why 'A'?That is because his Abah's and Mummy's names start with an 'A'! :)Just to let you know, its freaking tough to choose a name that begin with 'A' cos most of my relatives have taken them!!! Grrrrrr..DH and I have agreed that the name we chose for Peanut has to be meaningful..We intend to verify the meaning of the name with our Ustaz and seek his counsel..I do not think it is appropriate to name your child a fancy name that has no meaning..That is why whenever I hear someone has given birth, the first question I would ask is the baby's name..We also do not believe in giving such a long name for our Peanut as in the end, people will not address Peanut by the full name..So what's the use?..So here is the list of names(compiled from several websites).. :)Boy names :Adil - Just, Honest (the spelling is so close to DH's name.. :))Afeef - Pure, Chaste, PiousAidan - Help, IntelligentAiman - Fearless, LuckyArshad - Better guided, honestArshaq - Handsome, well proportionedAryan - Of utmost strengthAsher - Wise, knowledgableGirl names :Adeena - Pious, good luckAlisha - Honest, truthful, Protected by Allah s.w.tAmelia - Trustworthy, beautifulAriana - Full of lifeOooohh..What's this I see..More boy names than girl names? :PI have a hard time, picking girl names as DH prefer to have Peanut's name in 2 syllables (like ours) so people will not call Peanut by a nickname..Most girl names come in 3 or more syllables so no choice! :PThe more I look for names, the more I fall in love with DH's meaning of his name..A literary person..Cultured..Well mannered one..Goodness..Such a beautiful name..And DH definitely live up to his name..Hopefully so will Peanut..InsyaAllah..:)
