I haf somethin to confess..I am still comtemplating whether i wan to go Geylang!! Have been reading other ppl's blogs n saw e good n e bad side of goin to Geylang..Frankly, i dread goin cos of the eye sore..u noe those mats n minahs ruin my festive mood..I go to Geylang to bask in the ambience of ppl in the festive mood, buyin clothes..scarves..acessories for the home..Dearie will wan to buy deng deng, otah otah..n me will be munchin on burger ramli or keropok lekor..But when i spot them, haiz..mood terus hilang..Ramadhan is a sacred month..a month wher u seek forgiveness from God n avoid doin sins..So y r u goin to Geylang..dress skimpily, talk loudly..displayin all sorts of stupid behaviour..all u get is attention..unless tats wat u r hopin for..

I remembered last year..when i went to Geylang wit my family, I saw dis minah..wearing a tiny,sleeveless tank top tat exposes her tummy n has a navel piercing while walkin with her mum who is hijab-ed..My mum was like, 'Eh, tak tau malu ker?! Ni kan bulan yang suci..Bole eh mak dier kasi anak pakai mcm gitu..clearly it shows tat she cannot control her daughter anymore.' tats so sad..

Disappointed..yes..embarassed..yes..there r nt onli malays goin to Geylang..other races go to Geylang too..U can c Indians, Chinese n even Eurasians..Bt as my mum pointed out, they dress more decently..

I reli wanna go..even tho i am dreadin to go..weird ah..I wan to c families tryin out similar clothes..esp when parents are buyin their babies baju raya..dey look soo cute..I wanna buy festive goodies..would like to get Dearie his favourites esp his ayam percik..N somemore dis year is e last year e bazaar goin to be held @ Geylang..

Shld or shldnt I go..Will discuss wit Dearie..Most probably, he will say, 'lets go!' =P

Hmmm..haf other qns to ponder..When shld I go? Weekdays? Weekends? Eeekends will be full packed..Which part of the day shld I go? Afternoon b4 buka? or @ nite after buka? Prefer to go after buka so I can munch on e goodies n can drink wheneva I get thirsty from all that walkin..hehehe..bt nite time is when mats n minahs spawn..*shudders*

Oh well..gtg now..wanna ask dearie's opinions..
