Dearest Baby Auni,

Ummi is sorry, she couldn't pick you up today..

Its not that she couldn't, she wasn't allowed to..

To think the hospital said that you will be fit to be brought home today..

Excited Abah got ready to pick you up, Ummi was in a chirpy mood and the rest of the families were restless, waiting for noon to pick you up..

Then, Abah called the hospital to tell them that we are coming to pick you up..

But..

Abah put down the phone..

Ummi got anxious..

Abah told Ummi to go to the room first and went to talk to Granny..

Abah came to Ummi(who was getting flustered) and broke the sad news..

Your jaundice level is stable but it has the tendency to rise so you are required to stay another day for monitoring..

Now, doesn't that just crush Ummi's heart..

It crushed her heart so badly, that she burst into tears and was inconsolable..

Granny and Abah had to hold/hug/reassure her..

Tears just flow down like waterfalls and there's nothin that could make them stop falling..

Abah was distressed and told Ummi that he would bring Ummi to the hospital just to see you..

But Ummi refused..

Not that I do not love you, Darling..

I just cannot bear to look at you through the window, knowing that I would not be touching/holding/kissing/hugging you..

That thought itself nearly killed me..

In the end, I did go to you..How come? Cos your bibik and Grandpa fought with a certain nurse who was mean and another kind nurse said that you could be brought out, if only Ummi is around and that you are thirsty so Ummi can feed you..

Not wasting any precious moments, Ummi got herself ready and headed to the hospital..

When you were wheeled to me, my Darling..

My heart cried..

How I have longed for you..

I waited for everyone to hold you and I was the last to hold you..I wanted to be the last cos I know I would not let you go..

I held you in my arms again..The feeling was amazing..I was in bliss..Though it was a short moment, I was in heaven..

I fed you, I cradled you, I kissed you, I hugged you..

Dearest Baby Auni,

I pray that you will be allowed to go home tomorrow..

Ummi do not know if she can take one more day without you in her arms..

All I want is only you, my Darling..So does your Abah..
