Some of you may know that Moe had his surgery this week..It was on last Tuesday, the 20th and he has been recovering since..

Reason for surgery?

DH and I decided to have him sterilized..

I thought his ducts from his testicles to his penis are going to be snipped..Little did I expect that they are going to take out both his testicles!!

I nearly fainted when I was shown his testicles..

Another thing that made me nearly fainted is the horrid smell of the clinic and how much blood there was in my cat carrier where Moe was placed after the surgery..

They didn't even clean him after the surgery! The moment Moe was let out of the cat carrier, I saw that his hind legs and tail were stained with blood..There was blood everywhere in the cat carrier..They put old newspapers in there and they too had bloodstains..What made me even more upset is when Moe jumped into my bed and I realized that he was still bleeding cos my bed had his bloodstain!! Fresh blood!! Poor Moe..He was brought to the vet at 10.30 in the morning and I was told to collect him from 4 pm onwards..Now that is a long time and poor Moe has been bleeding since his surgery..When the hell did they actually cut him!! :S

Poor Moe was walking as if someone put a pineapple through his butt..

I could see that he was still groggy..He vomited and he couldn't walk properly..Oh yea, the vet scolded my sis(she helped to send Moe to the vet cos I was working) for making Moe too "house-bound", saying that he should be let free and mingle with other cats..

Excuse me!!

I think I know my cat better..DH always bring him down whenever he is going to the mama shop to buy bread or take letters from the letter box..DH will place Moe with some cats he see and Moe will quickly find a space to hide..When we open our gate to go out, Moe will just peep and at most, he will come out to sniff our doorstep and run back in..Moe is so scared of the outside world that he will definitely claw you the moment he sees our staircase so you will let him go and he will run up the stairs to our doorstep..

So dear vet, you do not know my cat..Do not anyhow scold..Personally, I feel Moe is much cleaner and healthier than cats who are let free cos he is "house-bound" and he do not get into fights with other stray cats and catch their parasites or whatnots..And also, he doesn't like other cats too..

I regret being Moe to that clinic..The way he was being allowed to go home with all the blood and with no instructions to take care of him and we are not even given anything to clean him up..My teacher was furious when I told her about Moe..She told me that when her dog was spayed(aka sterilized), he only came back with a stitch..No blood whatsoever..

Sharks! I got another appointment with the vet..Second vaccination for Moe..To think they want me to bring Moe in on the 20th of December..Firstly, its a public holiday and secondly, its my birthday..How stupid..*sigh*

I will find a new vet for Moe as soon as the vaccinations have ended..

Hmmm..I am supposed to feed Moe this pill, though its only half a pill..How on Earth am I going to get Moe to eat the pill!!

ARGH!!

Moe is a-ok now..

He is almost back to his usual self..Less biting and hopefully, no more peeing on other things except in his litter..

DH and I still feel guilty, making him testicle-less..We really didn't know that would happen..

I cried when I saw how he was after the surgery..

I am just glad Moe is ok now and seeing him wrestling with DH again just cracks me up..Hehehe!
