The pieces of my heart are missing you..

The face I came to know is missing too..

The words I need to hear to always get me through the day..
And make it OK..
I miss you..

I cried after reading a sms from my lil sis when she said she missed me at the dining table..Soon afterwards, my other sis smsed me the exact same thing..A whole wave of emotions came to me and I cried buckets..

I was busy preparing for my first iftar with my husband..I did think of my family, missing them, thinking that I was breaking my fast with them last Ramadhan as a daughter..I was thinking whether they miss me and what they are preparing for dinner..But now I am someone's wife and I have to prepare dinner for my husband..After we ate, we gleefully giggling over the fact that we are now married and can iftar together for our first Ramadhan..

Then, the smses came..Then, I cried right there at my dining table..Shocking my DH..One moment, we were giggling..Suddenly I cried..Heh.. :P

So beyond the happiness, I realized that there is some sadness in me..Sadness of not being with my family..It came on so strong when I was having my in-laws and they were busy, discussing about Raya..Which house to go first..Whether to rent a car..

Then, I was thinking..

What about my family?..Am I going anywhere with them..Or more appropriately, can I go with them at least to some of my elders' houses?

Goodness..

Just thinking of that makes me tear..

No doubt, I would like to have my Raya as fun and exciting as previous years..I do know I belong to my DH now..But surely, I cannot abandon my relatives and go visiting at his side with a strained happy face, knowing that I am missing my side..

We truly need to discuss and that we shall..We definitely cannot please everyone but we are surely going to please ourselves..

Now, putting that aside..

I do get to have a great day yesterday when my family came over and I cooked char kway teow.. :)

Sadly, DH wasn't around as he had his night class..It was sweet of my family to come over, knowing that I would be alone..

Now there is an arrangement that I would go to my parents' when DH has his night classes.. :)

Now, that will take away some sadness or rather loneliness in my heart.. :)

It was the first time I cooked chic rice and I absolutely love it!! Furthermore, its my own recipe..Hehehe..The chic truly reminded me and DH of the chic we had in sec school.. :)

Almost ready..The instructions didn't state how much of the ingredients to add so I just add to my own liking and gut feeling..Hahaha!!

Now..Not bike as in motorcycle..Bike as in bicycle!! :)

It was such a steal for that cheap price and there is a special seat for lil ol' me! :)
