Super pissed, I am..
Today is the 2nd time this week that I overslept in the MRT and ended up @ Pasir Ris..And its only Wednesday!!!
*sigh*
The first time it happened, I opened my eyes and saw an unfamiliar building and realized that its Whitesands..Today, I opened my eyes to see that e MRT doors had just closed @ Tampines..
*sigh*
I was groggy..Not to mention a lil grumpy..
When I was about to alight from the MRT, a whole swarm of idiots (pardon my language, I am really not in a good mood) went in..Most were sec school teens..Didn't you all learn that you are supposed to let the people in the train to alight first!!! I am so fed up!!! Now it is so common to see ah peks and aunties (and now teens) barge into the train, not caring whether there are people who want to alight..It is so common to see people standing within the yellow alighting area..What is this STUPID behaviour!!!!
ARGHHH!!!!
Its so sickening!! I witnessed a mum, pulling her primary school aged son to the yellow area when her son wanted to stand somewhere else..What values are you teaching??
- Its ok to stand there
- Do not care what others may say/think/feel
- You own the freaking MRT!!!
ARGHHH!!!!
Today, I was groggy so I didn't scold or shout..Next time, I will say, 'EXCUSE ME!!!!!!' right in your FACE!!!
I dare you to scold or retort back!!!
:S
Blardy idiots..
Just from one type of public transport, you can see so many disgusting behaviours..I get so mad when I see people not giving up seats to pregnant/aged people..You can totally see right through them..Pretending to sleep..Reading..Karma, people..Karma..
Don't get me started with disgusting behaviours from bus rides..Even before I can even board the bus just now, one irritating auntie immediately board the bus, ignoring me(the first person in the queue) and the rest who are queuing..She's not an old auntie..That, I could pardon..
So many disgusting behaviours are seen nowadays..
Makes me wonder how my child will view them..
If my child sees a person eating in the MRT and asks me, 'Mummy, that girl is eating in the MRT..Can we do that?'
I will simply reply, 'No, honey, we are not allowed to eat in the MRT. Can you see the 'no eating sign', love..'
Do you think I give a hoot to how that girl looks @ me?
Damn right, I would not..
It still saddens me greatly that I lost my hp..How ironic that August's edition of Reader's Digest were conducting a test on hp called, The Reader Digest's Global Mobile Phone Test..They purposely leave 960 mid-priced hps @ 32 cities all around the world and evaluate how many are returned..
Guess who did Singapore fare..
Only 53% of the phones were returned..How pathetic is that..
Let's look @ how some other nations fare..
Sweden: 87% Canada: 93% Australia: 66% S.Korea: 90% HongKong: 43% Slovenia: 97% Malaysia: 43% Philippines: 80%
Quoted from the article: Wealth was no guarantee of honesty. In prosperous New Zealand, a smartly dressed woman in her fifties grabbed a 'lost' mobile from the ledge in front of upmarket Auckland department store Smith and Caughey's, bolted down the street and never attempted to contact our reporter. By contrast a young Brazilian woman, who looked almost destitute and had three young children in tow, handed back a mobile phone she picked up in a Sao Paulo park. "I may not be rich," she said, "but my children will know the value of honesty."
Shame..Shame on those who take hp/wallets/bags or any other items that were misplaced..
Shame on you!!!
