My fingers are itchy..Feel like searching for a new blog skin..But I really like this one so I think it shall stay..Until the wedding blog is ready.. :)

Lets start!! ROMM entry, here we go!!

I was so nervous..Butterflies were wrestling in my stomach!

Hahaha!! Looks like I am not e only one..Forget the frowning face of abah cos he wasnt prepared for e pic..he smiled after I snapped e pic..bahh!! :P

How can I not be nervous..Abg smsed me, 'Mornin. I'm marrying you today.' *blushes*

Abg, his dad n his uncle left exactly @ 8 am and my dad n myself left a few mins later..Amazingly, we reached first..Hahaha!!

I went to the reception to enquire and the lady told me that I had to wait till my partner arrives..I saw another couple, filling in the forms..They were pretty in white..Abg came soon after..Oh, we were pretty in black.. :P

We got ourselves a form to fill and then, we had our first glitch..I totally forgot abt my saksi!! I asked my abah and he told me it shall be either one of his bros..He quickly tried calling them bt gotten to their answering machines instead..I panicked and started calling my mum who was on her way to work..She was mad! She nagged abt her telling my abah to get their details bt my abah dilly-dallied..ARGH!! Its NOT the right time to start the blaming game!! :S

Finally, we got my maternal uncle's IC number and submitted the form..Tho it wasnt the plan for my maternal uncle to be a saksi, it shall have to do..

After submitting the form, we received our queue number!

His uncle said we were the champions..hahaha!!

Oh, what happened to the couple in white? They couldnt process their applications as they didnt bring nets..Cannot pay by cash..So they waited outside for help to arrive..

So our number was called almost immediately and we went through the online application..We went through each step carefully and then, we encountered our 2nd glitch..The Kadi..

ARGH!!!

E Kadi is Abg's dad's friend from the kampung days..His family was supposed to call him the night before, reminding him that we are registering today so he needs to add the slot..When we were processing our application, the slot wasnt there!! The girl was telling us that phone booking is not recognised, we have no choice but to select other times for the nikah..Wahliauu!!

His dad and uncle called respective parties(his mum who made the call and got to the Kadi's son instead cos the Kadi was busy) and the Kadi again..Cut the story short..The Kadi's son forgot to inform his dad.. :S

We were told to wait for at least 10 mins till they opened the 8 pm slot for us..Abg had to keep toying with the selecting of time window so that our application would not be void as each application has 20 mins to be completed..If you dont complete it within 20 mins, you have to start all over again..bahh!!

So much drama!! Everyone kept sayin, 'Wah!! Nak kawin pun susah!'

Hahaha!!!

After the application was submitted and the payment (through Nets) was paid, we were told to go to the 2nd level for the interview..Jeepers creepers! Butterflies were wrestling in my tummy again!!

We just sat down when *teet!!* our number was flashed and Abg had to go in for the interview..

For memories' sake.. :)

He went in for less than 5 mins and then, it was my turn..I knocked b4 I went in and was asked to sit down..I took a look at the Deputy Registrar, feeling oh so nervous..Thankfully, he had a ~~fierce~~ calm face..If he had a fierce and unapproachable face, I would have burst into tears!

He verified my details and about where the nikah will be..Then the angkat sumpah came..It just felt so surreal!!

Then that was it..He doakan that our nikah will be smooth and that we will have a wonderful marriage..InsyaAllah..Such a nice man!! :D

My abah's turn was next..Can you believe that his interview took more than 10 mins!!! Longer than Abg's and mine combined plus more!! Even Abg's uncle commented, 'Agaknya members tak?' Hehehe..

Then, abah came out and that was it..We have successfully registered our marriage..I have proof!! In my email from ROMM.. :D

YAAAAAYY!!

We said our goodbyes and went home..On the way home, Abg smsed, 'Helo wife.' *blushes deep pink*

I met him soon after..So much for separating.. :P

You can definitely see how happy he was and still is.. :)

We hung out at his place for a while cos I had to help him with his asgmts..Then we headed out to MacDonald's where he will be meeting 2 of his classmates to discuss the asgmts..

Poor baby..He looked so stressed..

Totally unexpected!! We just realised tat we both pouted as we read!! Hahaha!!

It was such a memorable day..We have registered..That marks one more step in getting married.. :D

Oh, speaking of memorable, I have to share this..Its totally amusing..My abah recieved a letter not long ago from a certain place (which I shall reveal later), asking him to collect *gasp* my results slip!!!

What I am talkin about?

HAHAHA!!!! FREAKIN AMUSING!! Can you spot the dates?!! 2001 and 2002!!!

I was laughing my head off, telling abah how silly the place was..Its 2007 now and I am almost married!!! They kept my results for 5-6 years!!! Hahahaaa!!!

This clearly shows how sad this place is..I remembered when I told my parents that I do not wish to continue studying there..They asked why and I told them that the teacher who was supposed to teach my class, kept changing and the lessons were so boring..My parents shook their heads when they saw my results slip..Not cos of the grades, okay..I did fairly well tho I just know it now..Its how the business was run..Sheesh..

Okay, got to get ready, I have a wedding to attend today!!
