I am feelin rather blessed now..All praises to God.. =)
It began dis mornin when I looked thru Classifieds again..Called up a few centres n I always ask whether they employ scarf-wearing/head-gear(as if I am wearing a helmet instead of a scarf.. =P) teachers..So when I called dis particular centre, after answerin e basic questions, I asked her my 'bonus' qn.. =P
She replied by saying that she do not as a lot of parents may complain..den she asked me whether I can take off while I am workin n den put it on back afterI leave..any guesses to wat I replied? hahaha!! I gave her a straight 'NO'.. =P
But she insisted tat I came down for an interview..I was tinkin..wat e hell..its juz an interview..So I dressed up n went to tat centre..Its relatively new..nice cheery environment..I saw 1 person being interviewed n 2 more fillin up the employment papers..I sat down n was busy fillin up e papers when I felt a tap on my shoulder n e lady asked me whether I can be interviewed first..Woooaaaahh..Jump queue..hehehe!!!
As I sat at her office, she said tat she is very interested wit me n dat since I alredy haf DPT, she would rather interview me first than e other two as they haf CPT..In my heart, I was sayin,' wookkaaayy..' =P
Basically, the interview went on well..den she asked abt e scarf n whether its cos of my family or my personal self tat I am wearin e scarf..I told her tat its my own personal belief and tat I will not in any circumstances take off my scarf..den she asked since when I started wearing..I said since I had my mens..She was shocked n den she concluded that she understand n respect my belief.. =)
As the interview was ending, she asked me not to accept any other offers n tat she will get back to me tomolow mornin..heheh..
Juz a few minutes ago, before I start bloggin, I received a call from her..she said tat she would like me to come down on Monday to sign e employment letter n to go thru e procedures..den I asked her, 'So I am confirmed?'..she replied,' yes, u are.'
Wow..I am still in shock now..E interview turned out to be a blessin in disguise..I reli tot tat I wun get e job since she alredy said tat she dun employ teachers who don e scarf..
Thankful to get a job which do not make me compromise my belief n thankful tat e lady accepted my belief of nt takin off my scarf..E power of a doa..Dun ever underestimate it.. =)
*dances* I cant wait to teach!! I juz luuurrvvee children..Cant waitttt!! =D
