Dum di Dum..

As i was brushin my teeth dis morning,i remembered tat i haf yet to write abt my visit to e dentist.. =P

On monday nite, me n mummy went to e dentist..mum who always remember all e impt dates of Islam, actually forgot abt our appointment..hahaha..Hers is slotted @ 8pm whilst mine @ 8.30..in e end, we entered e dentisit's room onli @ 8.35pm..Mum had her turn first while i sat at a stool,directly feelin e air con..sooo cold!! when e dentist was workin on my mum, my teeth started clenchin..so ngilu!!!!!!

When my turn came, i sat @ e dentist chair..since young, i am always terrified of the dentist..its nt e dentist himself..oh ya, e dentist is a malay man..e pervious china born dentist wit tattooed eyebrows was transferred to another branch..hahaha..dun like her..wat i am terrified of is wat gonna happen to my teeth..i hate e instrument which e dentist used to remove plaque..ngilu satu hal..den it reli hit e sore parts of my gums..Mum told him tat wheneva i brush my teeth, my gums always bleed..After he cleaned one area of my teeth, i rinsed n saw sooo much blood comin out of my mouth..i had to rinse more than 5 times n had to refil e plastic cup wit water..e scary part was nt onli blood came out..blood clots too..yiiiiikkkessss!!!

Dentist told my mum tat i needed braces..y? cos my teeth are cluttered..my mum asked,' pasal gigi dier besar,eh? dentist replied, 'ckp lagi manis..bukan gigi dier besar, mulut dier kecik.' hehehe!! Dr Halid, i like u!! =)

He went on sayin tat all my teeth, top n bottom, are crowded n tat makes cleanin n brushin my teeth hard..hard to go into e corners n spaces in btw e teeth..i totally agree!! Howeva, e dentist said dat he cant do braces but he can recommend me to some1..a specialist..hearin tat word makes me quiver..specialist..gigi aku ni teruk nah, ker?? =P

He stated e estimated price n while he was still removin my plaque wit tat horrible instrument, he asked me, 'nak pakai braces?' i replied (wit my mouth full of blood),' nak!!' 'tak nak?', he tot he heard me say. 'NaK!!' i managed to scream. 'Nak??', he responded in shock..terperangat..maner ade org willinly nak pakai braces..hahaha!!

Actually when i was in pri skool, i alredy started wearin braces..more of brackets n retainers..i wore e plastic braces till mid sec 2..e reason y i stopped was cos it was too painful n i suffered migraines..I regretted nt continuin..sobs..but now, since he mentioned it..i wan to continue..i wan a prefect smile.. =)

To my horror, e dentist said i need 2 fillings!! my virgin fillings!! sobs..In e end, e bill was outrageous..$35 per fillin..cleanin n polishin was onli $45..My bill was higher than my mum's ..hahaha..

On e way home n rite till now, my tongue is constantly feelin my teeth..dunno y..esp e bottom front teeth..mcm tajam gitu..hehehe..

Oh ya i received a mouthwash, so did mum..a bitter tastin green liquid..eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..

Hmmm.regardin e braces issue..haf yet to discuss wit mum n dad..bt i do noe tat raffles dental offer cheaper costs n it takes a shorter time..hmmmm..i cut out e ad from e newspaper..will search for it n show mum n dad..

Anyone knows of any dental who offer affordable services for braces? e estimated price from e specialist is 4-5k..wah piang!!
