I juz collected my new specs yesterdae..Boy, i lurrrrrve my new specs!!

I specifically chose dis design..i juz love those specs which haf e arch design..i call dis my 'catwoman' specs..hehehe!! i remembered when i was in sec 2..i had a specs like dis n dearie juz feel in love wit it..hehehe..He gives thumbs up for dis new one n even said tat it shld be his..Nyeh Nyeh!! =P This is e first time i haf a partial rimless design n i adore it..

hmmmm..brand of dis design?? its Reebok..I initially wanted Levi's but dey r waaay over budget n e designs didnt attract me.. =P Yesterday, when i collected my specs, Uncle Jimmy didnt attend to me..it was another uncle..He gave me e shop's own specs case..i asked him, 'dont u haf a Reebok case?' Well, i am nt picky but daddy paid a certain amt of money for dis specs..surely i shld get e Reebok case..e uncle said, he'll check it out.. =P he came back..wit a Reebok case..hehehe..He said tat its actually for e Reebok sunglasses but he'll give me.. =P excuses..

I went to get my new specs done last fridae..wit mum, daddy n nas..U wanna noe wats e degree of my mum's eyes?? one is over 1000..e other is 900 plus..Omigosh!! Her lens r super duper thick..My mum wore contacts to work bt she said its troublesome cos she has to wear her readin glasses when she needs to vet her papers n such..So she said, she do not want to wear contacts anymore n juz stick to her specs..

We went to dis shop @ afgan which has been servin us..hmmm..since i was small?? hehehe..my whole family will neva go elsewher to make our specs or buy contacts.. =)

Unlce Jimmy served my mum first..i looked around for new designs..Since my mum had thick lens, Uncle Jimmy said he can trim e lens up to 30%..hehehe..My mum oso had limited choices for frames cos of her thick lens..As my mum was choosin her frames, Uncle Jimmy attended to me..He checked my eyes n said tat my degrees are still e same..Thank God!! Being addicted to maple doesnt hurt my eyes!! hehehe!! He took out e diff frames of Levi's to show me..n i tried them..hmmm..nt tat nice.. =P

He took out lots more from other brands as well n soon the whole tabletop was full of frames..mum was jealous cos i had unlimited choices..hehehe!! den he took out my current frame..when i put it on..it juz fits..Mum immediately agreed on it n she even wanted it!! No way!! She tried it on n said tat if i didnt take it, she would..Tak bole!! =P

Den Uncle Jimmy took out a Mui Mui frame tat had partial rimless design..Gosh..its lovely..wit white rims n e sides are pink in colour wit enbredded designs of roses..reli a beauty..Mum oso feel in love wit it..Kpo ajer tau..but my heart was set wit e Reebok frame..hehehe..uncle Jimmy took out dis D&G specs which had..Diamonds!! E sides of the specs had the words 'D&G' in Diamonds..I tried it on n it looked reli nice..Mum tried it on after me..a lil busybody =P Guess how much is e frame?? $600 plus!! juz e frame!! haven even include e price for e lens!! Uncle Jimmy showed us e packagin for e D&G specs cos some1 had ordered it n her order was ready but she had nt collected..

Wooooow..e box was reli a beauty..It can be used as a purse!! wit e clasp n all..Nah..still in love wit Reebok..even tho e D&G design was reli nice.. =P

So i was done..in fact, even after i was done, my mum still haf not chosen her frames..hehehe..she was busy lookin at what i was choosin..hehehe..since we were takin so long, daddy n nas left to eat somewher.. =P Finally, my mum chose dis design..it looked good on her..juz as i tot tat we were done..Mum asked abt e transition lens..

It is real..E lens changed color..Uncle Jimmy took out a transition lens..covered it partially n put it in front of his display lights..It reli changed color..Wooow..my mum was totally impressed..no need for sunglasses..Well..i tink u all can guess it..Mum ordered the transition lens..Even daddy was surprised..hehehe..i tink he need the transition lens more cos daddy work at a chemical company @ jurong island n he spends a lot of time inspectin the plants n all..he need the shades more!! Mum wanted to change dady's lens but daddy refused..Duh!! My daddy n my sista, Azira, juz made their new specs barely a few weeks ago!!

E total cost for my mum's new specs wit e frame n e transition lens are..unbelievable!! =P But she's happy..n i am happy..Its pricey n practical..Tho its pricey, she can use it for several years..she doesnt haf to wear contacts n readin glasses anymore..tats her wish..n she can pass me all her sunglasses..hehehe..

Now left nas n aziqa to buy new specs..Nas still has his old specs n he dun need a new one..Aziqa, on e other hand, wants to switch to contact lens..hehehe..tats partly my fault..my influence.. =P

Tats it..i reli love my new specs..i rarely wear specs when i am out..cos i rather wear contacts..y?? cos specs distorted my scarves..hehehe..But dis new one doesnt affect my scarves much..i lyyyykeee!! =)

My mum's lens cost waaay more than her specs frame..cos her lens were special..transition lens per..my specs frame costs more than my lens..hehehe..total opposite..My mum joked to Uncle Jimmy tat if onli she got e D&G frame wit her transition lens..Oh my God..i nearly fell off the chair..Imagine e price!!!

Mum has to wait for 2 weeks b4 her specs r ready..cos e special lens r imported from Austria..E moment Uncle Jimmy meantioned Austria..i immediately think abt Arnold Schwarzenegger.. =P
